1.Farmer Training Programme in Horticulture Sector Under the rural / horticulture development programme of the society the farmers of the village of district were informed about the methods of scientific agriculture
(i) To renovate the Wasteland available with farmer into Cultivable land so as to earn from Crops, Vegetable and Fruit Plants.
(ii) To motivate and generate awareness among farmers about Improved Agriculture Practices.
(iii) Supporting technical on & off farm trainings to farmers for different aspects related to line sowing, irrigation time & techniques, disea
ses & their medicines.
(iv) Orchard Forestry plantation covers the Orchard and protects it from Natural calamities, the leaves of trees itself makes organic compost, farmer can obtain timber, fuel & fodder for domestic purpose. Introduced with Innovative agricultural practices.
(v) Farmer should use his own available Natural Resources for the Development of the area.
On this occasion improved seeds were distributed among the villagers. Apart from this they were demonstrated the methods of preparing vermi compost. Further the farmers were demonstrated the bio-dynamic manures and were encouraged to adopt the methods of non-organic farming. The participants of this programme were benefited largely and agreed to encourage others to join these methods of non-organic farming. Further the villagers were informed about the latest techniques of modern agriculture and free seeds of good quality and high yields were distributed free of cost to the farmers.
2. Honey Bee Farming
Honey is one of the magical products from nature which shows its love towards living world. Honey Bee is the special type of Bee designed to extract Honey from nature and store in a consumable form. Over thousands of years the sources of honey were forests. But increased exploration and Honey hunting decreased the honey sources and Beehives considerably. Today we are paying for what we have done in past. The Increased applications of Honey and decreasing Honey beehives make Honey a valuable product. So its the right time to make a plan to convert this situation to a successful business for the benefit of us and the Nature. Honey Bee farming or Apiculture or Bee Keeping is a high profit generating business now.
Honey Bee farming is not a time consuming job. But it requires patience. It is like an automated job. Once you setup the system, you just wait. Thousands of Honey bees work for you. What you have to do is give proper security to Beehives and collect honey in time. Being a modern farmer, you can not just do only Honey Bee farming to fulfill your dreams. 3. Poultry Farming
The broiler chicken production of our country is growing at the rate of nearly 8-10% every yea. The consumption of chicken meat has increased significantly during past two decades. Government is promoting this industry by providing subsidy. Considering the vast potential of this industry in employment generation we have included many poultry.
Poultry egg and meat are important sources of high quality proteins, minerals and vitamins to balance the human diet. Specially developed breeds of egg type chicken are now available with traits of quick growth and high feed conversion efficiency. Depending on the farm-size, layer (for eggs) farming can be main source of family income or can provide income and gainful employment to farmers throughout the year. Poultry manure has high fertilizer value and can be used for increasing yield of all crops.
4. Women Empowerment Training Programme
TDairy farming is a profitable business. It provides an excellent opportunity for self employment of unemployed youth. It is also an important source of income generation to small/marginal farmers and agricultural laborers. India is the largest milk producer of the world. The demand of milk & milk product is increasing rapidly There is immense scope of dairy farming in our country. The increasing cost of feed ingredients and its seasonal variability can be reduced by undertaking fodder cultivation.
Presently the chronic shortage of feed coupled with the poor quality of fodder is widely regarded as the major constraint in animal production. It has been estimated that with the present feed and fodder resource we are able to meet only 46.6% of animal requirements, which in turn resulted in 50% of the desired production. It is imperative to say that in the recent system f intensive livestock production, increasing concentrate feeding has increase the milk production cost and substantially decreased the profits of farmers. The increasing cost of feed ingredients and its seasonal variability also adds to the gravity of the situation. Certain agri byproducts also have a detrimental effect on animal health and reproduction.

Mushroom farming is one of the high profitable business opportunities in developing countries like India. But many farmers are still not able to utilize the possibilities of mushrooms. Lack of knowledge of mushroom farming and shortage of experienced professionals are main reasons for it. Unlike other traditional farming areas, mushroom farmer or entrepreneur require high technical skills and modern equipments to achieve optimum result. So lack of knowledge or carelessness at any stage can lead to huge loss. This is the reason behind the slow spreading of mushroom farming in India. But if everything is done correctly, a mushroom farmer can earn nice income and achieve a good profession.
The attractiveness of this industry is that there is always a good market demand for mushrooms and its products, but the availability is less. 6. Scope
Poultry industry which provides cheap source of animal protein has taken a quantum leap in the last three decades evolving from a near backyard practice to a venture of industrial promotion. Considering the availability of raw materials in plenty the society organized a training camp on scope in the food processing industry. The camp was attended by many youths. Some of these youths have started their own food processing units and are earning their livelihood. In this programme the member of the society has told about new techniques of horticulture and advantage of these techniques. A seminar was organized by the society on food processing industry.
